The original company, established as Arkansas Die Cast in 1966, was acquired by Anchor in July of 1971. In September of 1988, Merchants Metals, a major manufacturer and distributor of fence products acquired Anchor Die Cast. One year later Merchants Metals merged with Meadow Burke and Ivy Steel to form MMI Products, Inc.

Anchor produces and distributes aluminum and pressed steel fence fittings that are used in the erection of chain link fences. Anchor is the only domestic manufacturer of both aluminum and steel fence fittings.

To better service customer needs, Anchor Die Cast has added industrial pressed steel and malleable fittings, barbed wire arms, tension bars, barbed tape, barbed wire, wood gate hardware, privacy slats and quick set cement.
