Meadow Burke has a 70-year legacy as a leader in the manufacture and distribution of concrete accessories. To date Meadow Burke continues to expand its customer base and product line through grass roots growth, acquisitions and new product development.

Over seven decades ago, the founding company, Meadow Steel Products (Medco), began manufacturing concrete accessories as a sideline for Birmingham Ornamental Iron. At the time, Medco was the only concrete accessory manufacturer in the South. The Meadow Steel name soon became synonymous with quality workmanship and excellent service. In the 1970's, Medco moved the plant facility to the Atlanta, Georgia area and moved the home office to Tampa, Florida. This positioned the company for future growth and expansion. During the 1980’s, Medco focused on product diversification, adding new construction technologies that would cut time and cost on concrete construction projects. As a result, Medco grew from a regional supplier to a national organization, adding multiple plant facilities and service center locations across the country.

In 1998, Meadow joined forces with Burke Concrete Accessories, a leader in the precast field and the inventor of tilt-up technology. The company name became Meadow Burke, and the company forged ahead to even greater success, developing an unequaled engineering and development staff for the tilt-up market.

Since 1991, Meadow Burke has been a division of MMI Products, Inc. With five sales and manufacturing plants and eleven service centers, Meadow Burke services the concrete construction industry coast-to-coast.
